Cowichan Search & Rescue helps find five missing teens

Posted on March 25, 2012 by cbrownlee

A group of five teenagers goes four-wheeling on Vancouver Island and runs out of gas. With no cell reception, temperatures hovering around freezing and heavy snow falling as night approaches they are in trouble. One of the teens successfully hiked 14 km through deep snow to get help. Fortunately, the Cowichan Search & Rescue uses One Call Now’s group messaging to coordinate their rescue efforts, ensuring that their responses are lightning fast and miscommunications are avoided. We are happy to report that the teens were found alive. Click here for more on this story, visit OneCallNow.com for more information on how automated calling could benefit your organization.

Fortunately, the Metchosin Search & Rescue uses One Call Now’s group messaging to coordinate their rescue efforts, ensuring that their responses are lightning fast and miscommunications are avoided. We are happy to report that the man was found, unharmed. Click here for more on this story, visit OneCallNow.com for more information on how automated calling could benefit your organization.

Coordinated efforts result in rescued boy

When the Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue (CVSAR) receives a call, someone is in trouble— life-threatening, immediate response necessary trouble. When that happens, they rely on One Call Now to coordinate their response, ensure they’re staffed properly to tackle the emergency, and that no time is wasted in doing so. This week they coordinated with the Mount Washington Ski Patrol to rescue a snowboarder.

SAR teams all over North America rely on One Call Now’s two -way group texting and voice messaging to coordinate their efforts and ensure precious time is not lost with miscommunication and delays in response time.

If your organization sends out emergency notifications, take a look at some of our client case studies for solutions to problems your organization may be experiencing, including delayed response times and high communication costs. For more information on our Search and Rescue communication plans, please download our brochure or call 877.698.3262.

Emergency Notification requires anytime every time support

Last Thursday was Thanksgiving in America, a quiet day for families to celebrate the bounty of the season and the love that is family (though for many, that love includes lots of football).

Yet for One Call Now, supporting clients across country lines means being open on the American Thanksgiving- with full support lines and a team standing by; because it’s just another Thursday in most countries including  Canada, (they celebrate Thanksgiving in October – maybe so they can have an even longer holiday selling season than American’s are forced to endure)!

That’s why 35,000 clients depend on us- when message matter, we deliver; not only hundreds of thousands of messages a day, but the 600 or so being sent Thursday by a Canadian client. We were there for her, and we are always here for you. 24/7/365; our real-people, toll-free, and totally free client support lines – answered by Sr. specialists Val, Tracy, Ken, Corinne, Josh, Randy and the rest.

99% of callers get the help they need and are completely satisfied within 3 minutes. Because when messages matter; we deliver.  Our support team would love to hear from you- at  www.onecallnow.com or call 877-698-3262 – anytime.
